Regret the Adaptil Collar made no difference to dog's behaviour
our dog has anxiety issues, which manifest as not understanding how to fit in with other dogs. The dog always annoys other dogs, getting tangled up and licking their faces until they are ready to snap. We also need to train her for separation anxiety and the collar made no difference with either issues. It looks no better than a supermarket flea collar and the price (described as an investment) does not warrant replacing. Help with new puppy
My cocker spaniel Gus was a grumpy dog when I had to look after my daughters 10 week old puppy, but after the Adaptil collar was put on he seemed to slowly stop being too grumpy and could walk past the very excitable puppy without growling. He seems to be settling with barking as well which is an added bonus.

Calming Collar???
I brought this to see if this could help my dog with thunderstorms. So far I havent seen a change in his behaviour as he has had it on for almost 2 weeks. Also the clip for the collar is not that robust as it keeps coming loose on my dog neck (hes a border collie). Adaptil Collars - feedback
Our Staghound has extreme anxiety. We tried Adaptil and thought the results were pretty subtle. After a while though, the calming affect is wonderful. An additional bonus is that the collars release under pressure (so no risk of collar injuries ). Pity that they only last for 1 month so can be costly long term.
