Excellent storage unit
Product arrived promptly in two large flatpacks, as such there is quite a bit a assembly required. However, all pieces were in excellent order, the instructions were clear, and there were ample metal clips to hold shelves in place. Ample storage for CD's and DVD's as advertised. You get what you pay for.
Putting the unit together was OK until I tried nailing the backing board on. The bloody thing snapped in half.. It comes as two smaller squares that you join to make a large rectangle and the pins in the middle just pulled out of the wood.. Used some liquid nails to join it back together but it still doesn't look right. To add to this the shelves are very tight to get in. Filled the hole I wanted it to, but it wasn't a very nice experience..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fit for purpose
I bought one of these to store my collection of DVDs. It took around an hour to assemble and unless you have done it before, you need to read the instructions. Shelving
The units look well made and as good as their picture. Not being practical I contacted an assembly service and I am up for another $100 to have it built. Manufacturers instructions were too sparse to be of much use but the supplier said they will contact them to try and get a YouTube video of how it is assembled. A nice looking shelf with very good appearance. We did have issue with the top breaking away from the bottom - a slight design fault there - but we fixed that with strong PVA glue and extra brackets. Overall this is a good quality unit which does its job of storing CDs and DVDs very nicely.
This item comes in 2 large and heavy cardboard boxes ( 20 kg each ). The assembly instructions are very good and easy to read. The shelves are a very tight fit, the backing board comes in 2 parts ( top and bottom ) which are unfolded, and I think are a little flimsy, but they do the job. The instructions recommend to fasten the unit to the wall with the supplied fittings which I did, I also recommend to fasten to the wall. Functional but aesthetically lacking
It holds CDs etc perfectly and at first glance is passable but the finish is poor quality. Pulling off one of the stickers removed some of the actual surface.
