Lightweight with many great features
I'm 75 years young and have been sewing since I was 11 years old, so I have had and worn out several sewing machines. I'm a quilter, seamstress and crafter so a sewing machine is very important to me. I have had several different makes over the years, but have always had the best luck with Singer. They are the most dependable and very user friendly for the most part. This newest one is by far the best as it has many, many great features built in such as embroidery, many quilting stitches and easy to use buttonhole attachment. I just push buttons and the machine sets itself up, needle position and all. The only thing I have to do is thread it and start sewing. The self threading feature is my favorite for obvious reasons....age. The price was fantastic also, and since I live on a fixed income, it fit right into my budget. Beautiful machine! best I have sewn on in quite a while. I don't understand why other people, even in my family, want another maker than Singer when I believe Singer is the best! It is easy to thread and I had no problem filling and putting the bobbin in. I had to hunt to find this machine because it was not in the usual retail stores. One of the features that I especially wanted was one step buttonholes in different sizes. I've not gotten to use that feature as it but I am looking forward to being able to do that. Not what i expected

Good product for the process
Was received well until we opened the box. Then we found out that not all the needed materials were included. So first I had to find and download an owner's manual than contact the company selling the item to see if the missing items are available, we are still waiting but refuse to hold our breath. Very questionable since the box did not appear to have been open. Maybe the manufacturer forgot to put the items.
