Saving my family history
Was searching for a easy and effective way to save all my old VHS, 8MM home movies as well as save all my audio record collection from 45s 33s & up to very old 1/4" thick Edison 78s passed down from grand parents. So far done one movie and with included software added background music and transitions. The process was easy. The conversion process took some time but expected that, you will need a decent pc or it will take even longer graphic processing takes allot of resources but the included software seems to have a powerful engine to minimize the time. Simple and it works
Ok, I'll write a review - The A to D converter works as it should. The software that comes with it is marginal but does the job and the only problem I had was that the compressed .avi option won't work for me. Uncompressed .avi does work but is far larger in file size than the MPEG 2. File size with MPEG 2 is what you'd expect.
