The best thorn resistant tires so far!
I was extremely disappointed by all the flat tires I was getting in a regular basis. Someone recommended me Gatorskin tires and my problems were over. Well, I should say that I did get a flat tire the first time I use them. However, it was not the tire's fault since I don't think no tire could avoid being punctured by the big shard of glass I ran into. But after that incident it didn't happen again. Or I should say it did happen again but it was my fault since I didn't notice that the tire had been worn out. So then I got a new pair. I am really happy with this product and I highly recommend it. Some of you may find the tires a little heavy but I prefer that burden than the pain of having to deal with flat tires almost every day as before.

Gatorskins gets an A++
Im 6 foot and 190lb rider with 25 years of street/trail cycling and have logged over 10,000 miles each on 3 different 700x23 Gatorskins. They might not be the lightest on the market but one tough tire. Would rather go for a ride with confidence in my tires than constantly wondering if i was going to flat just to save a couple of grams. If i need to lose some weight somewhere it won't be my tires or tubes.

these are my tires for city riding. you might get an occasional flat but I feel like these are blocking 99% of the glass shards and metal bits and whatnot. also pretty light. handmade in germany apparently, fwiw

Most durable road tire.
My second set of these after 7 years of riding. The old ones were still hanging in but decided to replace them as a precaution. Simply the most puncture proof road tires I've ever had. I highly recommend them.

Gatorskins are consistently high quality and very durable. They are not the lightest tire but nothing is slower than a flat tire. I've had far fewer flats after switching to Gatorskins.
