I REALLY like this peeler. It is super sharp and way better than any other peeler I've used in the past. Granted, it is brand new and of course most things are sharp when they are brand new. I like the handle of this peeler. I feel like it really is a bit better in my hand than other peelers. I've used it twice on potatoes and carrots and it has done its job with ease. Nice and very sharp peeler. Cutco is known for stay sharp cutlery and ergonomic handles, this peeler fits their brand. It is not pretty, but very functional. I have had plenty of metal peelers and a ceramic peeler. This Cutco is very sharp. Great Value!!
This peeler makes quick work of a Sunday-Dinner sized pot of potatoes and feels good in my hand. The handle is soft and rubbery and I have never had a problem with my hands cramping. I own a kitchen full of Cutco products so when the peeler was offered I bought it. Of course this peeler is not cheap, but I enjoy cooking and use it nearly daily and not just for potatoes. I also use it to peel fruit and other vegetables like cucumbers, ginger, and carrots; I have even used it to grate pieces of chocolate. Extra sharp for quick food prep
By far the best manual vegetable peeler ever. Extra sharp for quick easy food prep. I have now bought one for everyone in our family including this one for my wife's 92 year old aunt. All have thrown their old grocery store brand peelers in the trash since they love this one so much. The very best vegetable peeler!
This is my second Cutco vegetable peeler. Apparently I threw out my first peeler, with the peelings! I tried a $2 peeler from the grocery store, but it didn't peel, so I returned it! This peels my veggies effortlessly, like magic! I had my first one for 8 years and it worked as well when I recently lost it, as it did on day one. Right or left....it works great!
