    Decent unit. Good starter for kids.

    Simple interface. Great to use to gauge a kid's interest in percussion as a first step before springing for a kit. The LCD is a bit on the dim side at certain angles. My kid wore her first unit out and it kept turning off (fixing it was pretty easy since the problem was just a loose solder joint on the circuit board inside)

    Buy a real set of drums, better all around.

    Wouldn't work with batteries, so I bought a cord, worked, but sound was very low, so I gave it to a charity. #smh
