Grear for sharpening Bread Knives
Actually I did not buy this item for fishing or sharpening fish hooks or any of its advertised purposes for which I feel it will do a good job. The reason I made my purchase of this item was that having a tapered shaft it is ideal for sharpening bread knives. The taper fits the full curve of the serrations in the blade as you work the unit down each serration in turn. The final result is that you have a sharp bread knife again that will cut through the thick crusts sourdough bread. Defiantly an item to keep in the draw for such occasions.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
