Great value when purchased in 10 packs!
Normally these would be around $10-12 a set at the local store. Buying them in packs of 10 (and even including postage) brings them down to only $5.40 a set! Great when you know exactly what you want. The strings themselves are middle of the range and perform pretty good considering their price. They break about the same as other strings, sounds good for a few weeks generally. good value and convenience
While a 10 pack of D'Addario XLs doesn't represent a greater degree of quality or tone than a single pack of XLs I found buying 10 in one hit lowered the price significantly and the convenience of having multiple extra sets available at anytime is exceptional. It means I can restring all of my 3 main guitars and have a full extra set in the case of everyone of them all the time.
