My third pair of LG headphones, first HBS780
In the past 4 years, this is my 3rd set of LG headphones in the wireless, around the neck style Previously I had the Triumph and the Tone Pro (580 and 560 if I recall). Things I like about the 780: 1:)Slide on/off switch. My last pair had a long press button for the power and it sometimes took up to 30 seconds to turn on. 2.) Controls on the side of the unit. Again, last set had top controls that I would constantly hit with my chin. Very annoying. 3.) Hideaway earpieces. They stay in quite well. All in all this set has a much higher quality feel than the rest I've owned. I especially like the textured surface. It's not all sunshine and bunnies though. Those earpieces are big and heavy. They fall out of my ear and are knocked out easily. They're also too big for my main purpose, which is to use these under a motorcycle helmet. If I can manage to get my helmet on without knocking one or both of the ear pieces out, I can't wear them for very long because the cushion inside the helmet is pushing the earpiece into my ear causing pain. They are not low profile. Also, the controls, while nice, are not easily manipulated while wearing riding gloves. My last set was perfect for fitment and controls in this regard. So, for me these won't work and I will likely resell them. Also, worthy of note, these are in no way an upgrade in sound quality over the less expensive models. So save your money and buy one of them instead. One last thing, The LG tone and pro software is very useful. It reads out all your texts through the headset so you never have to look at your phone. You can also, with a compatible phone, connect more than one Bluetooth and have your text messages read out through your car system as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent product!
I had an older LG headset for about 5 years and loved it! Then I somehow damaged one of the earpieces and lost sound. I use it everyday and really like that the battery lasts a long time. With my old one the battery never changed. It lasted just as long after five years. This new one has new buttons to control an iPod. I also found it let's me navigate through songs on Amazon Music app too so that was super handy. It comes with two sizes of earpiece and the small ones work great for my small ears. I usually have trouble with ear buds being uncomfortable but these work really good for me. I also love how the buds store in the ends now keeping them clean. Does not work as well as the old one
My girlfriend had one of these and loved it! I could not find one anywhere else at any price. I ran across this quote refurbished” one. She said it does not work as well as her old one, the battery doesn’t last as long, the cables are much lighter duty, the sound quality is inferior to the old one. Lg hds780 vs motorola HS 10
I have Motorola z4 Phone and i bought Motorola hs10 headset (the design is not good. One cant keep the headset for long. It put a lot of pressure on ears and makes them hurt and headset ends don't really get inside the ear but stay little out. This makes the volume low.). Lg hbs780 is really well designed.
