    Good saw, great price

    I'm a builder of some 40 years. This is a nice little saw for a few cuts when you don't want to haul out the cords. It is not a production saw but for cutting a dozen or so studs or making some adjustment cuts on plywood shearing, it's a great tool to have on your truck. Plenty of power for 2x material.

    Better in theory

    This saw looks great and has great specs. It's very lightweight and a list of great features. If you have a corded circular saw or even a battery operated saw-za, this will be a disappointment. Definitely does not do anymore than a 2x4. If you try it won't even cut, it just stops. Secondly the position of the 2x4 matters. If it is straight on a table or horse it should be fine. If you are cutting a stud or fence post, it may take a few attempts. Overall if you can get it for less than 60 probably worth it, anymore and you will regret it.

    Great compact saw

    Lightweight, compact and balanced. Plenty of power for any framing. Cuts 1 3/4” LVLs easily. I have the Milwaukee 6 1/2” and it probably has more power but the Makita saw is my favorite.

    Easy on the ears, light weight.

    this is my first cordless circle saw and I love it. It weighs less than my old plug in, is much easier on the ears, has a breaking system, light for battery capacity, and it's cordless. The only issue I had was it being compatible with my older makita batteries which I could snap on for some reason.

    Item as described in original box. Great tool. It come with its on battery life indicator. Nice of your Batteries don’t have one. I build a corner bench and I never felt it lacked power. It does feel weird almost like it’s for left hand users but you get adjusted quite fast. I will keep but I’m this line of products I love this thing

    besides being kind of small on the base I have no complaints.

    Use it more than the double battery ones. It is blade right unlike most battery 6 1/2 inch saws. As expected the table or base is kind of small and thin for running along a straight edge.
