very handy
Just did my first camping trip out with the battery box and 55ah AGM battery to run my fridge. Very easy to connect to the solar panel with the handy anderson fittings. Only thing I found wanting was another (extra) cig socket so I could still run the fridge and also charge a battery pack which only has a cig type charger. The strap that hold the lid on is pretty weak and doesn't fasten very well but overall does the job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Flimsy and doesn’t fit battery size as stated
Very flimsy box, the lid fits on horribly. Dubious on the gauge of wiring used. Doesn’t fit large batteries even within the dimensions stated in the description. Negative cable on the lid too short to reach negative battery terminal. Lid won’t even fit on despite battery height including terminal posts being well within dimensions stated. After having to rewire it, it does the job but the lid won’t fit on properly, I’ll be looking at getting a better quality one in future. Disappointed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great budget box with everything you need, circuit breakers, Anderson plugs, USB & voltage display. It's not something you might throw around being a light shell casing. But it's certainly affordable. Smaller batteries of 260mm like mine, I would recommend buying with removable posts to fit better. Larger batteries that have more distance between the posts are fine. Hi These are great value for a 12v supply in the garage and as I have 3 of them I modified one to include a DC ammeter to check the output when using different tools as well as a temperature monitor/ safety switch to protect the battery when charging.
