LIGHTWEIGHT WITH GREAT FEATURES
THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS WITH THE INSTALLATION "USING THE WEB BROWSER" (FOLLOWED THE ATTACHED INSTRUCTIONS, USING THE ETHERNET CABLE FROM PC TO THE EXTENDER THEN TO THE WEBSITE, LOG IN AND AT THIS POINT DO NOT PROCEED FURTHER WAITING SIGNAL DISPLAYED. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS, I TRIED DISONNECTING THE ETHERNET CABLE FROM THE PC END, AND , IMMIDEDIATELY I CAN PROCEED AND COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION IN A FEW MINUTES. IT WAS NOT SAID IN THE GUIDE). FOR THE REST IT WORKS GREAT (SWITCH IT OFF FOR THE NIGHT AND THE NEXT MORNING JUST ON AGAIN AND AUTOMATICALLY IT GET SIGNAL READY TO WORK. GOOD COVERAGE. I NOTICED ALSO AN IMPROVEMENT IN THE SPEED TO OPEN WEBPAGES. VERY GOOD WIFI EXTENDER.

Will range extender supply wifi for three uninterrupted months without problems?
Highly anticipated the use of this product for Wifi feeds to security cameras. Wi-Fi measured (ookla) prior to activation of range extender and then again after range extender activated and unit was indicating proper operation. Large loss of Wifi signal but camera units still appeared to work but one camera indicates "signal very slow". Right now I am unsure about what I am going to do. Extended test coming up which should let me know if range extender can be relied upon to provide cameras with proper signal for operation. Time will tell. In the meanwhile I am assigning 3 stars to this product due to uncertainty of operation.

Good solid wireless dual-band extender that is a great value
It is easy to set up and has provided a solid wireless signal in the places in my house that had too weak of a signal to use. There were two setup methods provided. I tried the first one, but it didn't work. Fortunately, I had the broadcast button on my wireless router that enabled me to use the other setup method, which did work. I initially set up the 2.4 GHz signal, and attempted to go through the same process for the 5 GHz setup, but the 5 GHz light didn't come on on the tp-link extender, but it is being broadcasted and is generally the signal being picked up in remote parts of my house. For the $50 that I paid for this wireless extender, it was a much better option at this time for me than to go to a mesh setup that would have cost $279 during Cyber Monday deals, since I already had a good LinkSys wireless router that I only bought about 2 years ago, which would have gone to waste if I moved to a mesh wireless network.

Brought my new home office online -
I was looking for a good extender to connect my wireless router to my new home office located 45' away. It's an old farmhouse with old plaster and brick lined walls. I set this up about 15' from the router (30') from my PC and it works great. Both bands work very well and it's been very stable with good thru-put rates. Setup was as simple as possible given the technology. I recommend it.

Overcome impediments to your home network
The TP-LINK AC1750 Wi-Fi Dual Band Range Extender RE450 works as advertised. It adds a high level of connectivity to a remote area of my home where signal strength is not adequate for my wireless devices. It also has a wired port where I can plug in an older laptop with a Lan cable when I want to have a Zoom meeting at my breakfast table.

Wi-Fi Extender Does Work
This extender was ranked a best buy by PC Magazine. It is dual band, 2.4 ghz and 5ghz capable. I found it easy to connect and it definitely resolved the wi-fi dead spots in my home. The one downside is that while it is activated, it steals download and upload speed from your internet service. It is however easy to turn off and it reconnects automatically when needed. It also has an app to control the connection. Overall, four stars due to the speed issue, but its overall a positive option to resolve deadspots if desired.

Just works, and yes, with an Apple Airport Extreme / Express network. I saw some reviews and tech support requests that mentioned difficulty. The Tether App method did not work but I just opened up Chrome on my browser after connecting the EXTENDER wifi SSID directly, and typed in the web address given in the quick setup guide. Seamlessly extended my 2.4 & 5 GHz network to the outside of my home through an exterior outside wall. Airplay even works which is the main reason I needed to extend network. Signal with just Apple Airport devices could not create a solid enough signal for smooth streaming.

Bars aplenty
This extender does everything it says it would do. My laptop is about 50' and 4 walls from the router. I would only have 2 bars no matter what. Now I have 5 bars (maximum) constantly. I purchased this TP Link extender beacause I have a TP Link router. I went on their website, found my router and looked at recommended extender for my model. Foolproof. Once I got it I followed the instructions. Turned on the extender, waited, hit the WPS button on the back of the router, walked around until the extender turned solid blue, plugged it in and it works wonderful. The laptop is also faster than it's ever been. Very pleased with TP Link. Excellent products.

If you need to extend your WiFi area, this is it!
It was easy to setup - instructions were crystal clear and not complicated. The new reach of my WiFi is incredible. I live in a rural area and need to use WiFi for my phone because regular cell phone signals don't reach me out here! Before this device, the furthest I could use my phone was 10 feet outside by bedroom door. After this device, my coverage extends all the way to my barn, which is about 100 yards away! Couldn't be happier - I think it's a steal for the $45 or so bucks I paid.
