Very Unimpressive "Upgrade" At Least For My LG TV - Save Your Money
While my TV is also a 6 month old LG Smart & Big screen TV that I like and enjoy very much and the installation of this sound bar was quick and easy, the problem here is that the internal speaker of the TV is MUCH superior to this sound bar. First thing I noticed is a lack of volume - again the TV's internal speaker will go up much louder then this sound bar. I used the optical connection. Of course I went into the TV's settings and made sure everything was in order there and the correct settings were chosen. But it was easy to see at least with my LG TV this sound bar is a complete waste of money. So spend a few more bucks and grab one that has a sub woofer (as this one doesn't) and hopefully the real increase in volume AND more importantly quality sound will be what you were looking for.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Best for Music but Well Suited for Human Voice from tV
I have had one of these for several years and have not figured out where to use it. I tried the optical cable, and it sounded dreadful. Then found out if was Bluetooth capable, and it took on new meaning. Worked well as computer speakers. Then I tried it with my iPod and a wired PORT IN cable in the bathroom, and it sounded great. Clean and clear. I bought two more and now am using them for two different TV sets. 40 watts is a lot of power and with a digital amp. Great Little Speaker
The sound from this speaker is much better than a bigger one I bought last year. Also, it's very easy to use, with a simple remote that even pairs with my U-verse remote. Decent sound quality
Gives cleaner sound than the TV speakers. Nothing fantastic, just better that the TV speakers. The volume can get out of sync with the volume status bar on the TV if the sound bar does not see your TV remote.
