This is a novel toy that does a fair job in paying tribute to the character Starscream himself. I would highly recommend this for any collector, but the age group for children may not be suitable enough unless the child in question is responsible. There is a lot of speculation between the difference between Legends Class vs Core Class. If you were to compare them; the Legends obviously look more bulky and durable even though they are roughly the same height scaling. Over the years; Hasbro and it’s affiliated branches and partners have made so many toys that if you at each and every single one carefully; the novelty of these official Core Class Transformers feels lacking. They should have a more streamlined and simplistic design that retains the novelty that even children who can be rambunctious could enjoy. But the newer Transformers are to many and often feeling like mass produced test designs like the Core Class Dinobot set. Even the so called reproduction models are not as well made. The amount of engineering and material invested into these toys is strongly overspent. It isn’t uncommon for toys to have flaws, but there should be a limit to how many flaws are permitted. Many of these have easy to break parts or parts that can pop off or very loose joints or do not conform a solid as they should which is depressing given past successes. Hasbro should return to old models and think about what made them great even third party models. Some old designs don’t even need that great of an update because they were virtually perfect for their time and even now.
