Proper inserts to replace late model F-150 wear pads.
Installed on my 2013 F-150 FX4. My stock wear pads were worn out after 100K miles and the metal on metal caused a bad squeak. This part number is for a single insert; you will need 4 for a whole truck. Technically there are an additional 4 inserts on the overload leaves but those will probably be like new unless you haul a lot often.
Installation isn't difficult and took me about an hour for all 4. You'll need to lift the truck's weight off the springs, tap a wedge between the leaves near where the insert sits (to lift the top spring off it), extract the old insert (I used a dremel to remove the old insert locating pin), cut the new insert's guide pin to length, and work it into place before dropping the truck's weight on it to pop it into place.
