Carburetor - AVS2 - 4-Barrel - 500 CFM - Square Bore - Manual Choke - Mechanical Secondary - Single Inlet - Satin - Each Details The Edelbrock #1902 AV2 Series 500 cfm Carburetor is designed and calibrated for small cubic-inch single carb applications, match with an Edelbrock Performer or Performer EPS manifold or other brands of similar design. Includes both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance. #1902 is calibrated for single-quad applications and factory equipped with: Metering Jets - Primary .095, Secondary .095, Primary Rod .070 x .052, orange spring (5' Hg). Use carb Studs #8008 or #8024 if needed. Match with an Edelbrock intake manifold for the ultimate induction upgrade.

    A great addition to the Ford 300 inline 6

    I purchased this to replace the worn out Carter 500 on a mildly modified Ford 300 inline 6. Annular discharge boosters were the deciding factor; it's like having an Autolite 4100 with metering rods for better adjustability and fuel control through the throttle/ rpm range. I haven't put a great many miles on it since calibrating it, but have monitored air/ fuel ratios and it's lean where it should be and riches up when it should. So far fuel economy is 21 mpg which is startling in a 1979 F150 4x4, even with an overdrive. Power production is very good, it idles well, and starts easy.
