Great Headset
Headset is great. We had the fixed bar headsets that go around the back of your head that came with the bike. Couldn't wear them for more than about 30 minutes before they started to really hurt your ears and head. It wasn't adjustable and with your glasses and the headset inside your helmet, it was a recipe for total discomfort. This headset fits inside your helmet and you use velcro to attach the ear pieces to the flaps of your helmet. The sound quality is great and the comfort is fantastic. Review of Harley Boom Audio headsets
Both headsets only worked intermittently, depending on moving mic booms and main connection cables at attachment box. Carefully removed cover on one box to investigate. Found circuit board screwed down against metal wire connector pins from boom and speakers, wires chaffed. This indicates two things: sloppy (poor) assembly and lack of quality control at the factory (China). Harley should be ashamed that their name is on this product!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very clear at both ends of the conversation
This was a steal at $50. The identical one was $160 at the local Harley Davidson dealership. Very good clarity on phone calls and I can listen to my music without entertaining the whole neighborhood. It was kind of a pain to mount on my modular type helmet but I got it done and it fits great. The only challenge I've had was user error. People on the other end of the phone couldn't hear me talking. Turns out the jack on the helmet end wasn't quite plugged in all the way. Harleu Davidson headset.
