After conditioning, this clay is soft enough to blend easily but firm enough to hold fine detail and for specialised techniques. It’s perfect for caning, jewellery and doll making. Because Premo retains flexibility, the finished product remains very strong and durable.
I've used all brands and off-brands of polymer clay - do yourself a favour, pay a little more and get a quality brand like Sculpey Premo. Cheap brands are ok for mucking about but if you are making miniatures or jewellery, the difference is immense in the finished product - ESPECIALLY when working with white clay.
I am just a newcomer to this product so I am not a very good judge. I found it a little hard to start off with but after reading how to make it soften, I found it very good to work with. The idea is be patient with it and you will end up making wonderful creations.
