Great little pedometer
There are many things that I like about this pedometer. It's easy to use and read. It keeps a 7 day history. It converts steps to miles, calories burned, aerobic steps and has the time on it. It's easy to set up. The clip is great. And you can wear it in your pocket or around your neck. There's one thing I don't like about it. Pro: Easy to use and setup with lots of nice features like 7-day memory, automatic reset at midnight, stride adjustment and varied units of measurement (steps/kcal/mi/km). Price was very reasonable. Con: Did a very poor job a counting steps. Placement was critical to have it count accurately, if at all. not accurate
It does not count all the steps. Plus, if it is in a pocket it does not count accurately because it changes position. I had high hopes for this because it is easy to get a battery changed without needing to use a screwdriver thus making it easier than older models to change batteries. I've been using this product for about 5 years its very easy to use just set it for your height, weight & length of stride & to either metric or US values & you're good to go. Getting old so I loose them & have to replace them occasionally. A Good Pedometer
This model is an improvement over previous ones. It not only saves the number of steps for each day, but also the distance, the calories, and the number of fat burning steps. The previous models held only the number of steps for previous days. Another improvement is that the screen is not on all the time, but just briefly and then it goes dark until one of the buttons is pressed. This assures longer battery life. Love It
I was actually looking to replace my HJ-112 which I evidently lost because I haven't been able to find it for months. When I came across this updated version for about the same price as I found for the older model that I had, I decided to try it. So glad I did. This updated version is a bit smaller, and much flatter (more compact). Also the holder that comes with this one allows for viewing in the right direction (I don't have to turn upside down to read the display). And, this seller had such an excellent price. I was apprehensive, since the price was so much lower than others I had seen. It makes me feel good to know how far I've walked--I like to see miles, not steps like most people.
