Film D-movie footage in Full HD 60p progressive format, and play back videos on an HD TV via the HDMI connection. You can also share images over a smartphone using an optional wireless adapter. Plus, as well as an anti-dust system, the D3300 features an integrated Guide mode for simple operation.

Amazing for my first camera purchase, easy to understand - thank you!! The only thing I would add is it would be good to know with what SD cards are compatible, (maybe I didn't see it on the listing) but it was a simple google search away anyway. :)

Professional Results
It might not always be the fastest in use on the DSLR block but results always count. I worked in photography for many a year from the days of large format studio cameras and it has always been about the end result. I cannot see buying a higher end camera to the Nikon D3300 when it produces noiseless pictures in very low light situations. I have a D5100 with two kit lenses and my purchase was to fit my 55mm - 200mm telephoto permanently for use at air shows instead of fiddling with lens changing at short notice. In other words - a back-up camera but seeing some superior features I am encouraged to use it as a primary unit. The D5100 sports less pixels and is not impressive in low light situations although for me now with my interchangeable Nikkor lenses see no incentive to further upgrade. There are several video reviews along with detailed instructive guidelines which are highly recommended if you want to go beyond using it just on 'Auto'.

I feel that for the beginner, of SLR cameras one cannot really fault it . I bought the body only to enable me to get the best lens which i wanted for this camera, which for me is the Tamron 18-200mm.
