Make Good Cheer
This beautifully illustrated book by M.E. fails at it's completeness, in that it does not deal with the whole process of crafting for Christmas. It relies too heavily on pre-manufactured items that work more like kit assembly than ' from - scratch construction. Perhaps this is a shortcoming of my male influence because my wife enjoys the book and adds it to our living room coffee table Christmas book collections. Creative and Inspiring
Beautifully colored pages and filled with Engelbreit's style. I've been a fan since she started her gift cards. I created one of her tree skirt designs from Bucilla kits. Find a multitude of crafts from clay to her cross stitch designs. A how to make instructions with a pattern, details written out. The colors and design are just devine. Copyright in 2001, now 2021, i find all her designs still fitting and classy. Ideas like a snow doily, clay ornaments, cross stitch oven mittens, and quilted table mat are unique with her design eye and color combos. Photos are clear and print is a simple easy to read font. No yada yada in the text, its a verb in front to explain what to do next, ie cut, trace, layer, etc. She even color codes her pages like a pattern catalog. Each page has a beautiful boarder and looks like a wall paper. I quite enjoyed this book. I may not make it all, but it I am inspired.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
