This machine has a 3 year warranty. My previous inverter welder was about the same price but now I can compare it to the Weldskill 180 I have formed a definite opinion. Obviously the 3 year warranty is brilliant, my previous machine had 1 year for a warranty. The Weldskill 180 has 4 metre leads, the earth clamp and the rod holder are very well made. The rod holder locks onto 2ml rods perfectly. I found the machine to be excellent. My previous machine I thought made me a good welder, but the Weldskill 180 was superior and made me an even better welder. The machine seemed to hold the minimum voltage for 2ml rods perfectly and allowed me to weld very thin tubing without blowing holes in it. I am a hobby welder but I am incredibly happy with this machine. I have used 3.2 rods with this machine and it is a lot harder to blow holes in metal as the steel is thicker. The Weldskill 180 comes with a comprehensive booklet which also offers welding advice that I found very helpful. For a relative beginner the booklet would supply enough information to get started and set them on the course to be a competent welder. You do have to practice of course with the welder but at least you will know what you are trying to achieve.
Biggest complaint. Very hard to repack the leads into the case with the welder so I store them in a separate case. I am just fussy, Really this is not important I just had to say it. Love the Weldskill 180.
