Regardless of needing a samsung spec phone etc, Its excellent quality and can operate alone
I got this because its truly spherical 360 degrees viewing, far better than the panoramic 360 with single lense cameras. Quality is excellent and the youtube reviews to compare are good. I prefer this over the new 2017 samsung Gear because replacement batteries to carry a few without running out of power. at least a 90mbps Micro Sd card so it doesnt overheat thats the answer to many who had complained they were using cheaper slower processing cards. I tried the modified samsung gear App for mobile, my phone was a moto G5, x8 processor, and good specs but still had issues, limited control. but still happy to operate the camera manually and its fast turn on, control. i also bought a wifi remote button for control. $15. sweet. I had looked at others on the market, but this came out the best.

takes great 360 shots but not as clear as i thought it would be
