Save Your Money!!
I was NOT impressed; all that talent and the "story line" was disjointed and didn't really make sense as to why one was watching. Weird violence, including rape(s?), that did not make much sense either; randomly shot with no lead in as to why it was happening. I watched 3/4 of the movie expecting (hoping) there would be a fluid line, but never happened and I was so bored off it went. I adore DeNiro and Wood, believing they are both brilliant actors, but this one left me out in the cold. If this was originated to depict a tale of the early 1900s gangs they fell short by a mile; seems to be just bits and pieces with no fluidity and found it to be irritating instead of interesting. Blech!

Bravo, Sergio!
This cut pretty much restores Leone's first showing at Cannes … in both length and sequence so its engaging storytelling at its best in an era where the immigrant experience is our national dialogue. Ennio Morricone's score made me get the soundtrack which play it as my favorite listening 50? years after it was released. The US cut was a disaster and we lost out badly then... rediscover it.
