    Picking up speed

    I don't watch much network television but have been a Marvel nerd since the 70's so, after some hesitation, bought this disc set of season one. It started out pretty much as standard TV fare. Generic and predictable. But, towards the final chapters, I think the writers began amping things up with ideas normally seen on cable channels or AMC. Still not packing huge punches but I found myself looking forward to the next episode. It was surprising, to me, that it started off so poorly given that it was a Joss Whedon helmed event. It's television, right? Worth a watch. It can only get better from here. Season two is looking real good, so far.

    A nice surprise!

    We have enjoyed all of the "Avenger" type of films in recent years, so thought we'd give the new Agents of Shield a try, and were not disappointed! An entertaining mix of drama, action combat, sci-fi, and comedy, without a bunch of bad language or bedroom scenes. Very convincing acting, and amazing special effects. We liked it so well that we ordered (and enjoyed just as much) season 2!

    Great Hard to Find Marvel Agents of Shield Season 3

    Can't help but love Agent Coulson's sense of humor throughout the series. Overall, the series was a great one with wonderful back stories, character development and multiple villains. Good connection to Marvel movies. All in all, great DVD collection. Would have loved to have the Blu-ray version but could not afford almost $60.

    Agents of SHIELD

    Watch it! Season 4 is starting in September and I hadn't watched one episode, but my sister-in-law loaned me Season 1 on DVD and I got hooked. Sometimes I'm shocked when I didn't see something coming, but every episode is action packed and super entertaining. I'll be sure to have this Season 3 viewed by the time 4 starts so I can watch it live!
