The Dell PowerConnect 6224 is a 24-port gigabit Ethernet switch designed for enterprise networking. It is fully managed and rack-mountable, with a maximum LAN data rate of 1000 Mbps/1 Gbps. The switch is compatible with Dell products and features Ethernet (RJ-45) and SFP interfaces. It has a maximum data transfer rate of 1000mb/s and supports ATA over Ethernet network type. The product is sold as an open box unit and comes with a California Prop 65 warning.
Not quite as loud as an A-10. Also seems to be missing the 30mm cannon. Networking features are a bit sparse compared to Cisco. I'm sure the fans will be fine after tuning/replacement. Haven't done packet rate testing, but I'm sure it will switch at line speed even with all my devices going at once. The ASICs look beefy.
