About this product

Product Information

Lemmings, Lemmings and Oh No! More Lemmings! It's your duty to train these mindless suicidal creatures to perform tasks that will carry them to safety. Without you, they'd walk into their ultimate demise! As a compilation of sorts, Psygnosis has ported the original Lemmings to the PlayStation along with the Oh No! More Lemmings companion.

In either puzzle game, you'll assign different skills to individual lemmings; skills are assigned in coordination with the challenges the little critters face. Sometimes you'll need to build stairs and assign roadblocks to cross and avoid a large pit; there are instances when you'll have the lemmings climbing walls and digging in the ground. You can also bash through walls, assign bombers and float in the air. With the lives of many lemmings at your fingertips, use your powers wisely.

Along with these abilities, Lemmings & Oh No! More Lemmings also speed up and slow down the flow of lemmings through the trap door. A fast forward button is also accessible if you're on the road to completion and victory; if there's no hope of finishing the level, you can use an Armageddon button to detonate the remaining lemmings.

Lemmings has four difficulty settings in which to choose including Fun, Tricky, Taxing and Mayhem. Fun is for those new to the series -- levels can usually be completed by performing a simple task. On the Taxing setting, you're faced with harder challenges that require the assignment of a couple tasks. Taxing and Mayhem are the hardest of all as the levels are filled with multiple hazards. You'll also have to assign a larger number of skills to the lemmings.

Coming after the original, Oh No! More Lemmings offers more challenges and five difficulty settings including Tame, Crazy, Wild, Wicked and Havoc; each progressively harder than the previous setting. As in the first game, the difficulty setting will determine how many tasks must be accomplished before saving the lemmings. There are times when you'll be limited to a few tasks; you'll also have a certain number of lemmings to progress to the next level.

As is the case in both games, the difficulty settings feature 20 individual levels with separate titles. As you defeat the levels, you're given the option to save your game. Altogether, Lemmings & Oh No! Lemmings features 180 different levels.

Unfamiliar with the lemming species? These little critters have been described as tiny rodents with very little in the brain department; they mindlessly kill themselves. If you're up to the task, the lemmings are in dire need of help! Use your brain cells and help these poor creatures to safety...after all, only you can prevent their demise.
