It's good to have large letters/numbers and variable volume for we older ones. The battery backup from the handset to the base is useless for those on NBN as the phone is connected to the modem which won't work in a blackout. Easy to set up because of clear instructions and in a booklet - no looking it up on the internet. Sound was a big concern with other phones we have tried but we are impressed with the Panasonic and because of NBN I thought I may have to get the experts to set the phones up for us but I am gradually getting through the process and it has not been painful at all - big relief these days. It is a pleasure to use the phone the handsets . My husband took one downstairs to his workshop and thinks it is so good not having to come up to use the phone.
