I'm using these to replace the light str...
I'm using these to replace the light string which came on the banjo. I'm used to playing heavy string on my guitar and bass and tight strings on my mandolin. Using light strings with high frets I'm stretching the strings out of tune as I play. I also use heavy picks and moderate the volume and tone with my fingers. The strings are excellent!
