Good replacement strutts
My boot was always heavy since I bought it, just thought that's how it was. But 9 years later my friend who also has an FG discovered it was a lot heavier than his. Bought this, easy to install yourself and now I find myself lifting the boot with ease! Only downside is all the muscle mass I'll be losing now that the boot is so much lighter. Thanks

Ford boot struts
My old struts made it hard to open the boot by having to lift it open and assist it shut because it would slam on the way down, now it almost goes up by itself and is gentle on the way down. These struts are easy to install they just snap on, good quality and very good value. regards

No more heavy boot lid
Didn't realise that my heavy boot lid on my FG was not normal! Bought these and they were very easy to install and now my boot lid is very easy to lift up! Highly recommended! Will be going back and purchasing similar struts but for the bonnet

Boot lid is so much lighter
the gas struts were the correct struts and took very little to fit. they certainly make opening and closing the boot much easier for my wife. they look just like the originals so it does not change the appearance when the boot is open.
