Great mouse, but lazy scroll wheel

I love everything about this mouse except a single issue. The issue: The scroll wheel usually works fine, but if you let the mouse sit for a few seconds and try scrolling, it takes anywhere from several to several dozen clicks of the scroll wheel before the mouse begins registering any of the scroll inputs. If you scroll a bunch, it eventually decides to begin working, and if you move the mouse by a pixel it will also begin registering scroll inputs. But if the mouse is idle for a short period of time without moving it, scrolls do not register immediately as they should. This is an issue other people with the M720 experience, and I believe every single unit has the same problem. Everything else: This mouse is otherwise excellent. I switched from a Logitech M505, and the form factor is somewhat similar but slightly larger now. However, it still feels excellent to use with my fingers. The side forward/backward buttons are also a nice addition, and the hidden gesture button is theoretically handy but I haven't personally found any good use for it yet. I love how this mouse finally has the middle mouse button on the scroll wheel itself, which is something many recent Logitech mice have neglected. The multi-device feature is also quite useful because I can put the Unifying Receiver in my desktop and quickly switch to my Bluetooth-enabled laptop with a simple button press when I grab my laptop and mouse to go somewhere. I hope Logitech finds a fix for the annoying scroll issue, but aside from that, this mouse is very nice!

Slow pointer speed and pointer drift make this a non starter

While the concept and features behind the product are on track, the execution on my particular model leaves much to be desired. First, let me say that I use the RF USB connectivity rather than the Bluetooth connectivity for this mouse. The first issue I noticed was the pointer acceleration. It was as if the pointer was being dragged through thick oil. It was not smooth and it was not fast. If you are a gamer and expect quick responsiveness from your mouse, try a different product. The second issue is the Logitech Options software drivers. I increased the pointer speed to the max and it is still too slow for my taste. Also, I was not impressed with this software the first time I used it. I much prefer the Logitech Unifying Software and Mouse and Keyboard settings software. It was more robust and feature rich. The last issue I have with this mouse is the pointer drift. I will stop moving the mouse, but the pointer will often keep moving or drifting in the same direction. Had I purchased this from a storefront retailer, I would have returned it. I will stick to my Marathon Mouse and Performance Mouse MX.

  • Wouldn't buy this again

Disappointed with this purchase. If I had it to do over again I would get something else. You'd think with a $50 (MSRP) bluetooth mouse this would pair with an Amazon FireTV stick but no. Non-adjustable, low DPI also makes it feel slow and sluggish compared to my corded CoolerMaster Havoc mouse (which I have set to 2400 DPI). Also, its power-saving feature is INCREDIBLY annoying, causing your scroll-wheel to stop functioning after 15 seconds until you move the mouse again or press the middle mouse button. No way to disable this feature. Probably won't be buying anymore Logitech mice since this was so overpriced and so disappointing.

  • Logitech triathlon mouse (used) review

The mouse was pretty much what one might expect of a used device. Had a few marks, but nothing serious. The charging cable and the unifying dongle were all included and packaging for shipment was basic but adequate. International shipment was slow but as predicted by eBay. I have been using this mouse for a week or so now and find that generally it works as it should. The issue I have is that the action of the left mouse buttons is tentative. The left button needs to be held down extremely firmly to select larger areas of text, for example. I have another Logitech mouse that is not nearly as finicky, so I expect that this might be the result of this being a used device. Perhaps internal cleaning around the switch for the left mouse button is needed. For that I would need to disassemble the device with all that that entails. So, not bad, but could be better.

  • Great mouse. Works reasonable well for ambidextrous use

Great mouse. I use it with both my right and left hand. The buttons on the left side of the mouse are easier to use with my right hand but are doable with my left, and I really don't use those buttons much anyways. Otherwise the mouse is good for ambidextrous use, is light, and tracks well for my general business computer work. Mouse arrived very quickly.

  • Good purchase for the cost ๐Ÿ‘

This is a well designed functional mouse with plenty of adjustable features for personalization. Not to forget to mention that you can program to work across three computers simotaniously. Only drawback is that the schroll wheel is flemsey and feels cheap.

  • Great Product and Fast Shipping

The M720 has a comfortable grip and seems like it will be good to go for hours. Still getting used to all the features. Using on Win10 and Arch linux. So far so Good!

  • Awesome mouse

I bought this mouse for work to replace a Logitech M705. The reason I got this one over another M705 was the fact that this can be used with the dongle as well as bluetooth. Most laptops have bluetooth now, I love that I can use the mouse with my laptop through bluetooth and not have to waste a usb port for the dongle. Mouse is very comfortable, and seems durable, 2 year battery life on one AA battery is pretty awesome. Just a hint if you need to repair with bluetooth, just press and hold the device button until the light is flashing rapidly.

  • Solid Mouse at a Reasonable Price

"Yes/No" isn't very helpful here. The versatility of the mouse is great, and the sensitivity works very well. I found it to be a bit taller than the average mouse, so it took a little while to get used to. And whereas the mouse itself is sensitive, the track-wheel needs coaxing at times to get it to perform. Still, for the price, it is certainly a better quality mouse than most of what is in its price range, and I do recommend it.

  • Comfortable and works flawlessly

This mouse is comfortable and all of the features work flawlessly. It works on nearly any surface. The ability to effortlessly switch between Bluetooth devices sets it apart from most others. Instantly toggle between as many as 3 devices with just the press of a button (using your right thumb.) The only minor suggestion for improvement would be to quiet the audible "clicks" when pressing the left and right buttons as they are quite loud. Awesome mouse!
