Great machine. As a keen DIYer, this has the power and design I needed.
Great machine. It doesn't labour when applying sensible sanding pressure. It's sturdy and well designed. I mostly bought for the belt sanding, so I can tell you that changing the belt is very easy to do. Dust extraction is good and everything is stored around the machine. Not bad for the price ..ok for most joinery tasks but not accurate enough for fine woodworking.
The spindle is 1.5 degrees out of square with the fixed section of the top plate....and I will have to get that fixed before I can use it and it is not a simple task as it will require the machine dismantling.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Top quality and so versatile!
I am very impressed with the quality, sturdiness and versatility of the product. It’s very solid and has storage for all the accessories. It was very easy to set up and even easier to use. The folding rest is accurate, precisely 90degrees to the sanding belt/spindle when in the upright position. The adjustable rest is made of metal which is a big bonus. It is so solid and accurate that I have successfully used it as a thicknesser for veneers by clamping a guide to the metal rest and feeding laminates between the guide and 40mm spindle. After many hours of searching this is the sander I opted for also bought a 76mm drum to go with it as spare sanding drums come in 6 sizes the 76mm is for the spindle only version though if you get some 3mm perspex you can fabricate a plate for it easy enoughVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bigger than I expected
I needed a spindle sander and this model had a belt sander as well so to economise on space went for this model. One warning it is large and will take up a good chunk of bench space. That aside it is a great sander, the belt sander is really useful and the spindles are easy to interchange. The design is good, keeping all of the parts in dedicated slots in the base. Dust collection works well, and keeps the dust clouds at bay. All in all I would recommend it, just make sure you have enough workspace for it as it is quite large for a home workshop.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Better than I expected
Nice machine. Bigger than I expected but it fits the space I set aside. Like the table which is metal but looks plastic in the photos. Also like the table angle adjustment stops which came as an unexpected bonus. Haven't found any belts finer than 150 grit.
