Substantial hardware, somewhat fiddly setup
We had lots of smaller and larger weather stations over the years, and in around a year they all failed. The Vevor appears a bit more substantial than the other ones were - but we only had it for two months, so the longevity remains to be seen. The hardware is comprehensive, measuring most weather-related parameters under the Sun. The internal display latches onto the external unit without delay. It is also bigger than those from the competition, a plus. I just wish I could change the colour of the internal temperature display, as the brown colour is poorly visible. The 4/5 stars is for the WiFi setup which is not quite a doddle. In the end it all works, including upload to Weather Underground, but it takes some effort. First of all, one needs to be able to selectively turn off the 5 GHz broadcast on the home router, as the weather station only wants 2.4 GHz. For network security, the weather station should hang off the IoT subnet with all the other dumb gadgets, but annoyingly it refuses to connect to that or a guest network (the latter mentioned in the manual), only hooking up the primary network. Fingers crossed it has no built-in ill intentions or vulnerabilities. Network connection done, one just needs to enter the Weather Underground station ID and station Key, AND not forget to tick the box to upload to WU.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good unit but wifi is very difficult.
The unit has no way of resetting the Weather Station to factory conditions. Currently I am unable to link the SSID of the unit to my Internet in order that I can connect to Weather Underground. This connection drops out after a few minutes. A factory reset should enable a correction of any mistakes made in settings up the WiFi connection of the Station to the router. The Vevor 7in1 weather station is being used by 4SDB Rose City FM in the beautiful Queensland Darling Downs and proving its worth with accurate weather data. It is also being used (another weather station) at my home. It appears to be very accurate straight out of the box, easy to assemble with good mounting options and with a good manual. Both of the weather stations report their data through to Weather Underground so we can look at the data where ever we are. The build quality is very good and seems to be a solid and robust unit. Very good quality for the price
I have brought several Vevor products over the years and while not “professional” quality, they are very good value for money. The Weather Station is no exception to the rule. It comes well packed and it is very easy to assemble. Connection to the sensors is automatic and basic functions are immediately available. It can be used without an internet connection. Connection to the Internet is not the easiest but if you follow the instructions in the correct order the sensor data is soon sent to your weather sharing sites (only Wunderground and Weathercloud supported). It helps if you have the FULL manual (56 pages) as I have seen some Vevor weather stations sent only with a small ‘pamphlet’ brochure (4 pages !) for setup instructions which is totally inadequate. The sensor data is accurate to within 1 to 2% of the values recorded on my two other (professional quality, much more expensive!) weather stations.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Big display with lots of info including a internet locked clock via wifi with name of day, moon phase, has light and UV sensors works with on line weather sites easily. Good comprehensive manual. Out door unit is solid good looking, easy to install and level/point. Has solar cell and battery uses RF link completely cord free. Price is half that of competitors and better!
