When you're on the move, the SanDisk Clip Sport MP3 player can bring along your favorite podcasts and music. This lightweight device can even play audiobooks for literary lovers. The soft-to-the-touch silicone edging improves your grip when making those selections. A clip on the back will keep your MP3 player attached to your clothing or wristband. It has a very firm grip and will not shake loose easily. With this feature, your hands and pockets can remain free for work or holding other important items. The SanDisk Clip player boasts 8GB of storage space built into it. This is roughly equal to at least 1,500 songs to groove to. Just connect the Clip Sport to your computer via a USB drive to download media. This player also features a built-in microSDHC card slot. You can add even more songs and media with a loaded memory card. You can switch up the song order on your playlist for virtually endless music variety. The media player also features a built-in FM radio tuner. You can listen to a radio station and catch the local news, weather, or sports. You can even set the tuner to the signal from your gym's wall-mounted TV.You are able to play a number of different audio file formats on this SanDisk. It recognizes MP3, WMA, WAV, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, Audible, and AAC formats. With a long-lasting battery, this SanDisk Clip Sport lets you listen to up to 25 hours on a single charge. To adjust battery life, the System Settings include options for adjusting the screen brightness and backlight time. If desired, you can also set the device to Power Saver and Sleep modes. An accompanying micro USB 2.0 cable allows you to charge these players when needed. This player also comes with a set of in-ear buds with spare silicone tips. These accessories will stay firmly in place in the ear canal. The large LCD color screen makes navigating through your music easy while you're moving. It measures a decent 1.4-inch square. The entire SanDisk Clip Sport is about 2 inches wide by 3 inches long. This little player fits neatly into your bag when not in use. Large control buttons on the bottom front allow you to navigate its menus. These buttons include forward, backward, pause, and menu. The Clip Sport lets you organize files into music, podcasts, audible files, and audiobooks. Quickly navigate to the media you want to play. Further, it allows for the creation and storage of multiple playlists. Choose a relaxing playlist of songs for mediation and fast-paced rock 'n' roll for runs with one of these accessories.Keep track of your workouts using the stopwatch and timer on the SanDisk Clip Sport. You have the option of saving your time under logs. Use them to compare your current run time with previous times. Big display, longer battery
I had a Zip Clip for several years, so I was looking forward to the bigger display and longer battery. I got those two, but there are several disadvantages - no recording, no mic, FM not as good, uses 8Gb SD card (16Gb on Zip Clip). The bigger display is not well used with it's tiny letters. Older models of Sandisk were great. Then they changed
I’ve been using a Sandisk mp3 for years. The original model was great absolutely no problems or complaints. Then they changed the features, nothing new was added just more difficult to use, no recorder and the headphones are unusable. I should have believed all of the reviews. Awesome!!! Great Sound, Highly Customizable, and LOTS of little extra features!
The Equalizer has both multiple preset and customizable sound modes. The "clip" feature is sturdy, with good tension, and the player is super-lightweight so it can even be securely "clipped" (including upside down!) to a hatband/headband/dew-rag/visor/etc.! •I did a TON of research before buying this MP3 player and the value to cost ratio CANNOT BE BEAT! •I've dropped (and even "flung") this player MULTIPLE times (onto rocky ground!) and it still works brilliantly! •A caveat: The screen scratches easily! Don't put this player into your pocket/etc. with other items (e.g., keys, coins), drop (or "fling"!) onto less-than-padded (e.g., carpeted) ground, unless you don't mind a scratched-up screen. •I don't know if screen protectors are available for this player, but if keeping the screen unscathed/pristine is important to you, you may want to look into the possibility.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Great MP3 Player
I love my SanDisk player! It is easy to use and the sound is great and the battery life is incredible. The Micro SD card port gives me the ability to put my whole music collection on Micro SD cards and sort by music type. What is more if I want to catch some current Top 40s or news, I can use the FM Radio feature and don't need to change devices. Using it in the car is easy by plugging the earphone output into the port in the dash using a double male 3.5mm cable. I take it with me everywhere. MicroSD Card Errors
I purchased this specific mp3 player for the option of expanding my memory with a micro sd card reader. Unfortunately, I receive errors when attempting to listen to my mp3 podcasts stored on my card. The problem may very well be related to the manufacture of the card itself, which is a Microcenter sd card, but I haven't tried any other brand yet. Overall, the mp3 player operates well but I mainly purchased it to listen to my podcasts from my sd card so I am not satisfied with that aspect. In addition, my song list does not appear in the same order when transferred from my PC so the operating system is difficult to work with when attempting to organize media.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Main reason I got it was to play Audible books. After unsuccessfully trying to activate it to do so, and working with the company, they confessed that it is a known problem, and is incapable of being activated. It also is a bit difficult to use, and does not automatically organize content by number or alphabetically. I have several Sandisk products and have always found them to be pretty reiable and easy to use. I like this model because it has 8GB, and a radio, plus the ability to add a MicroSD card. Because it is a little larger than some other SanDisk MP3 players, it has a very long battery life which I find very convenient. My only issue with SanDisk is that over time the internal section of the headphone jack wears out, making the player almost usless because you can't get a good connection and only hear one channel, especially if you are active or using the product on a motorcycle, which is one of my uses for the 6 various mp3 players I have now. 2 units are older and can't be used anymore for this reason and contributed to this purchase. Compared to ......
Compared to a Sony Walkman or "I" players, this is really cheap feeling. The whole control panel is loose. The plug-ins for power and headphones are on opposite sides.
