Have you ever wanted to see what happens when water boils?
...Literally nothing. If you wanted to bond with your kids over the marvels of science, this is probably the best and fastest way to them one day asking, "Did my parents really love me? Or the idea of me?" If you're the type of person who can't tell a kettle is boiling from the excess of steam and very, very hot water, then this is for you. Looks good, lid opens when water reaches boil
Being able to see inside the kettle is useful, as well as looking good. The kettle boils fairly quickly and the price is competitive. Unfortunately after a few weeks the lid started to open when the water reached boiling. This appears to stop the kettle turning itself off every now and then. Perfect clean pour every time.
This kettle boils fast. The lid seals well so there is no bypass flow around the lid seal. But the best feature is the dripless spout. Of all the kettles in the current market this is the only one I found to have no dribble down the side or dripping from the spout when you set it down.
