I often cook potatoes in their skins in our microwave oven, even before I tried the bag, and I found no difference between, just cooking them on the glass turntable of my microwave. Also I found 4 minutes in our microwave was not nearly enough, and I had to cook the potatoes for a further 2 minutes at least, after first checking whether they were cooked or not.
