One of the things that has been missing from the Fuji lineup ever since they created the X Series of cameras about five years ago was a professional level flash. The EF-X500 changes that. This is a well built, easy to use pro grade flash. The menus are easy to understand and navigate. The recycle times are right up there where they need to be for a flash of this degree. More features than most will ever need. Some question that Fuji chose not to include radio triggering for remote use and instead went with the more traditional optical option. I don't see this as an issue. For one, there are separate radio units that can be attached if needed. And most pro grade flashes that have this feature built in cost much more (mind you I said pro grade, not just any flash). All in all, if you are a Fuji user looking for a solid pro level flash then this is everything you need.
