Useful for short walks, but seems inaccurate for longer ones
Have used it for a week or so, and it seems accurate on short walks, but seems to underread for longer ones. May work better for jogging, but I don't jog anymore. Great to start off with- a bit fiddly to set up but good. I have only had the item for a couple of weeks and it has broken.
Also have to be careful what you attach it to as it flips off on to the floor you go to the loo. The numbers on the screen have gone blanc. I always hooked it to my waste and walked 10k steps a day so it was good to start with. But I think it must have gotten moist from my body and now the numbers so not come up. Simple, light and accurate
Got this because I didn't want to be annoyed by ads on an app on my phone, and wanted an accurate step counter (not a GPS), which is unreliable - none of the apps I tried actually use the accelerometer/s built - in to most phones. This pedometer is light and tiny, and uses a movement switch to detect steps. You can also program your step-length, allowing an estimate of how far you've walked.
