Sangean DT-250 Pocket Radio with Speaker & Earphones (supplied)
Just an excellent small pocket radio for AM / FM reception so you can take it to the football or cricket and listen live with no delay. (DAB+ digital radio is around 5 seconds latency behind real time). Excellent listening via with supplied earphones or your own if you wish. Like the digital screen and "lock" feature on the radio to stop any accidental changing of the station. Can be used without earphones but being a pocket radio it only has a small speaker but even then it works very well for what it is designed for. If you want a boom box then buy one of those instead ! Great Little Pocket Stereo
My old pocket radio was years old and required replacement,so after much research decided on this radio. Great little transistor radio,station lock,back light,great sound,and plenty of stations to put in the memory,and is a one touch to scroll to a station ,I did fit different headphones though,Skull Candy over ear they work well. Lightweight with great features
I have found the Sangean DT-250 to be the best portable analogue radio I have used to date. It has excellent fringe area reception. I have found it easy to use and the ease of tuning using the up and down buttons a treat. Also the selection of AM and FM could not be easier. The Operating Instruction manual is very easy to follow with clear and easily understood instructions. The LCD display is large and displays uncluttered configuration of the DT-250. Sangean Radio DT250
This brand of radio only came to my attention recently and I bought a DT250 hoping it would live up to it's glowing description. It did!! It's simple and intuitive to program favourite stations in. The same with recalling those stations and listening to them. When in the favourites mode there's a simple lock to stop unintended key pressing. Pay A Little More For An Excellent Radio
Needing a portable radio for the Footy as well as for around the house & garden I initially purchased a DEGEN DE-125 Radio for about half the price & what a heap of junk that was, it was basically faulty from day 1 resulting in a return & refund. However the SANGEAN DT 250 is fantastic with great sound, 19 presets , robust design & a belt clip for easy attaching.
