    Great device, only one glitch.

I was pleased that the distance I get on my earbuds will reach my entire property inside and out, from my basement, through walls even. The only problem is that it is not in perfect sync with the video. there is a slight delay in the audio making it impossible to use for my live performance music show, which is why I purchased it. It can be distracting watching music or sports, things that you want to have video and audio in time with each other. If you want it for good reception, as I said at the start, it is awesome. I also like that it is both a transmitter and a receiver.

  • Top critical review

Love to be able to return it.

it does not do what I hoped it would do. I need a blue tooth device that will remember a speaker. This may work great for head phones but if you are using permanent blue tooth speakers this product will not work for you. Which is may case. Also I have never heard back for Miccus when I reached out to them about a return, so I guess I am just stuck with it.

  • Replaced long cable

Replaced 30' cable from audio mixer to Bose speaker with pair of bluetooth transceivers. The 3 ms latency is barely noticeable. The one person who noticed said it was like a reverb echo and not annoying. I had to get from eBay connector cables for balanced output from mixer and 6.5mm input to speaker. I can now contemplate moving the audio table to a less conspicuous location in the church. Pairing is not easy. It is hard to tell when the two devices are paired. It took several tries to get sound from the speaker. I tried to pair my iPad with the TX device. The iPad did not find either the TX or the RX device. I haven't tried to pair with earphones, buds, etc. yet.

  • Cool device

First off, the range is as advertised. I attached the device to a pair of outs on my UAD Apollo 16 and streamed live performances of the band via Bluetooth over 100’ from my studio to the front porch of the house. Even though you can attach 2 devices of the same type at once, they will not be in sync with each other in the standard Bluetooth format. I don’t know if that’s the case with the more modern aptx low latency mode as I don’t have any devices that new. But this device can turn any audio source, analog or digital, in to Bluetooth and do so quite well. I’m sure I’ll buy another one or 2 of these as gifts. I highly recommend this device if you want Bluetooth at further than 30-ish feet or just want to add BT capability to an older tv or stereo. There’s many possible uses as it can operate as a receiver or transmitter. And at $50 brand new, it won’t break the bank.

  • Great product even for distances

Good product. Surprised we had no problem with distance since we have it transmitting from our basement stereo to updates and even to our back yard. Don't have it hooked up fully to address the sound quality etc since we are just using a tinny speaker for now. But it sounds great on that.

  • Does the job as claimed

Great working unit. As far as the range is concerned it is far better than regular Bluetooth, but as long as they're objects in the path of the signa,l the range is reduced. As far as unobstructed straight line range superior. I did add the larger antenna, improvement was marginal. They're alot of creative ways to use this unit, but fro long range maybe Wi-Fi is better.

  • Small and powerful

This is great! It's easy to set up and it works well. The only problem is that the 3.5mm audio output won't run my headphones or earbuds. Maybe it's a digital audio. I think it should have an analog audio output.

  • Great little device

I bought this device for my 1990's era stereo. It was fairly easy to set up, if you read the directions (which I didn't). So far I have only used the receiver part of it and it works well. Very pleased with this purchase.

  • Works well, good value

Using as a receiver to update an old, 1990's house-wide stereo located in a basement closet. Can stream from my LG phone from anywhere in the house with no issues. Product seems well made, with solid electrical connections and a rubberized exterior coating instead of just cheap plastic.
