    Great router/access point

Signal strength and range are excellent. Speeds are great! Shipping and packaging from seller were very good. I would have given it 5 stars but it has an issue (from the manufacturer) that makes it confusing. When using it as an access point, and following the Linksys instructions to do so, no mention is made that it will result in a flashing power light to indicate "loss of Internet signal" which is incorrect. It has Internet signal, but not through the "Internet" port. It comes through one of the LAN ports. It took me hours of research to discover this since nothing is mentioned in the user manual downloaded from Linksys.

  • Top critical review

    Works very fast but...

PROS: -Easy to use and easy setup too. -Has a very useful smartphone app to manage this router. -Great signal strength. -Good price CONS: The only thing I don't like it's that this router has a very poor paternal controls, only allows you to block up to 10 webpages, but c'mon, there are hundreds of adults pages on the net, it's impossible to block them all with this router. Would be much better if we can block sites by category, then all kind of adults sites would be blocked at once.

  • The best for less

Linksys Max-Stream is one of the newest routers, allows for 4 separate nets, 2 - 2.5GB and 2 - 5GB lines. Had guests this past weekend so as many as 8 devices using at the same time. Several were streaming video and there was ZERO slowdown or noticeable buffering. I asked the others if they had any problems - a resounding NO. Pretty easy to set up though I still don't quite have 2 nets configured; 2 work great. Biggest issue is ALL wireless devices then have to reconfigure to a new net. I live across the street from an apartment building so security of my nets is an issue. I haven't had an issue with this newest wireless router.

  • A great home router

Great home router for a home with intense multi-media requirements. Can handle multiple HD video streams, gaming, simultaneously. .Reasonably priced for mid-range home router. Very good network coverage. I was able to get rid of a wireless repeater I was using to amp my signal. A PC on the opposite side and different floor of a large 2 story house with 6 walls/floors between the router and PC has no problem connecting.

  • Linksys EA7500 Smart Wireless Router

I've been using my new LINKSYS AC1900 EA7500 MAX-Stream Smart Wireless Wi-Fi MU-MIMO Gigabit router for several weeks now and it has performed flawlessly. The transmission speed both from and to my internet service provider has increased and the distance from which I can wirelessly operate my other devices (smart phone, laptop computer, etc.) has increased nicely as well. I have not used it yet to drive my smart HD smart television or smart DVD.

  • Great WiFi coverage and easy set up

I needed to upgrade my home network and this did it. In replacing an existing router the Linksys AC1900 was super easy to set up following their instructions. Performance wise this router eliminated the buffering on my 4K Smart TV and maximized the upload/download speeds of my service provider and everything I have connected to the Linksys. This was a great upgrade that won't become obsolete as my provider increases their network speeds. I also love the online account info available when registering the product.

  • Great performance with a low price

Wow what a deal, the lowest price I've seen for a quality WiFi router. This unit has eliminated our video streaming freeze ups and I like the available USB ports that allows me to setup a set of backup HD's. Thanks.

  • Awesome

For a cheaper(comparably) MU-MIMO router this thing rocks. Network speeds are definitely faster. The strength does not reach any further but that's not up to the manufacturer. I consider myself an above average home user. This router has a great interface with all the settings needed. For DDNS NO-IP and another service(I can't remember what, sorry) are available for use. That's great because I don't pay for dyndns as I don't use the service often. The interface is great to use. It has all the features needed and is easy to figure out where setting are. It's also extremely reactive. The router doesn't need to reboot for every simple setting change and it doesn't take forever to navigate through screens.

  • Linksys EA7500

I found it easy to setup. I was up and running in 30 minutes. This router has multiple channels to help share your internet connection to multiple devices that use wi-fi. Also has the option to setup a guest network. Great value, great price.

  • Linksys Next Gen AC AC1900 MU-MIMO

I went from using a booster to get my signal out to my workshop, to not needing the booster anymore, because this unit was sending a better signal than the booster did. It has a ton of functions you can set up if your into doing as such as I am. So far it has been a great router, just remember - IT IS ONLY A ROUTER YOU STILL NEED A MODEM, which wasn't a problem for me, my router / modem unit died on the router side, so I was able to just bridge the connection on the unit, and use it as my modem.
