Pioneer SP-FS52 Performance Comparison and Review
Phenomenal tonal quality. Clearly one of the best I have listened to. Incredible clarity. Tight bass, crystal clear highs. Over the years I had several speaker pairs and continue to own them and compared them with SP-FS52 from the same amplifier (Yamaha) and music source. The speakers I compared SP-FS52 where: Advent (Two way) ; Bose (two satellite w/Subwoofer); Kilpsch Synergy; Lynnfield VR30; and an inexpensive RCA. Kilpsch Synergy III was the closest to the tonal quality or nearly the same as SP-FS52s and was twice as loud at the same amplifier volume setting. Kilpsch was three time more expensive than SP-FS52. Very soon I will have a pair of B&W 603 to compare this with. I also tried this with Harman-Kardon; Marantz, Onkyo, Pioneer, and Sony aplifiers with and without equalizers and preamps. Currently hooked up to a vintage pioneer SX-6. Overall very pleased and highly recommend SP-FS52.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

All in one package
I'm enjoying myself with these beautiful and superb floorstanding speakers. I thought they would produce a thin, shallow sound but I was very badly wrong! This sound magnificent as front speakers, even I've disconected already my subwoofer and planning to sell it, because its 40 Hz and deep bass doesn't requires (IMHO) for musical listening any one of those ugly subs. The sound is full, dynamic, round, neutral, and saying this even without passing the 100 hours of speakers break-in! now I'll be more pleased yet when I reach it. Go for them ! A good place to start a high value per dollar system
These speakers are a very good value for the 99$ a piece i payed for them. They sound very clear with no distortion i can hear at any volume. You do need to play them a little loud to get the full range out of them. Amazing sound at a unbelievable price. I would have expected these to cost at least $300.00 each. I can't wait to get the matching center speaker.
Don't let this bargain pass you by. At a 100 each, you'll wish you had them. The sound is super crisp and clear and the lows are out good. I played the car crash seen from Dark Pheonix and the glad breaker was pheonominal. I'm sorry happy that I picked these up.

It's small form factor made it easy to install behind the dash of my 2014 Ram 1500 Express, and provides an excellent amount of power to my after market Kicker speakers. I was easily able to wire it between my aftermarket Sony head unit to my vehcile specific factory adapter to use exisiting speaker wires.
