A little overwhelming, but a lot to like.
Big learning curve but looking forward to utilizing amp in my daily practice routines. There's a lot to like. I really like the size, the versatility, and features of this amp. The ability to link with your phone opens a whole world of amp and pedal styles that can tremendously affect the sound of your instrument. You can assign 4 presets and switch between pre-saved favorites with the press of a button on the cabinet. The amp also functions as a audio input for recording and permits a free download of Studio One ver 5 for recording and mastering your music. Sweet. BTW, all the help files are in the app, most of your setup questions are answered in the app. If you wish, the amp can be used "stand alone" without the app. The amp has the typical settings for gain, master, bass, output, treble, and there's mod, delay, reverb. You can also select between the styles of guitars you might use with the amp: acoustic, bass, clean, glassy, crunch, hi-gain, and metal. You can also the amp to amplify your favorite music service from your phone; ie. Spotify, Pandora, etc. Again,, big learning curve but a lot of flexibility and versatility. Geat pratice amp and so much more. Make sure that you have a phone or ipad has an operating system that acepts the Spark App. If not you loose all the cool options available, such as Jam tracks, background instruments and other features that make this unit stellar. Without the apps this unit is jusrt a nice practice amp. The Spark Apps is the brains of the unit, so make sure that you operating system of your phone or tablet is upto date.
