Notes2011 two CD collection from the Soul legends, who are known as the Spinners in the U.S. Formed in the 1950s, the Detroit Spinners' career didn't take off until they left Motown and joined Atlantic Records in 1971 where they joined forces with Philly songwriter/producer Thom Bell. Under Bell's direction, they racked up a slew of memorable chart hits throughout the '70s, including 'I'll Be Around,' 'Could It Be I'm Falling in Love,' and 'Ghetto Child.' This sterling retrospective features all of the Detroit quintet's significant Atlantic recordings and big US and UK chart smashes. Music Club Deluxe.
