Amazing product !
I purchased 6x cans of this clear to repair a vehicle with severe clear coat 'sun burn' to the roof & the boot lid. After sanding off the old broken down clear coat back to the base coat I also used some base coat in a spray can also to repair where the sanding had damaged the original colour. As with all painting ... the final result depends on the preparation ! I was truly amazed as to the finish I achieved soon after applying this clear 30 mins after applying the base coat. The 'off the gun' shine ... out of a spray can is a beautiful deep, flat but glossy lustre ... makes the metallic base coat look amazing ! This product is very easy to use and you get truly amazing results over base coat. It is marketed as '2pack technology' but obviously without a hardener to activate & catalyse the paint I'm assuming it is in essence a 'glorified' acrylic lacquer ... but with an amazing shine out of the can without any wet sanding & buffing required like normal acrylic lacquer. Not sure if it will be solvent sensitive after it has cured properly but for the application I used it for, it has saved me the expense of buying a compressor to fix the sun burnt clear on my vehicle !Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pretty decent finish and gloss but takes too long to dry
This is a good product in terms of the gloss and finish it gives - better than your standard 1K acrylic clear, although I doubt that this is an actual 2K clear as there is no 'activator'. The product took a little while longer to dry than stated, I had to let my part dry for 2 weeks and even then it was about 90% hardened. Perfect for what I use it for

Melted on a hot day
In Australia the clear coat melted on one of our hotter days allowing grass and dust to stick before drying up meaning i could not get it out afterwards.
