    Many Bells and Whisltes

Having owned an iPhone for 5 or so years I decided to try the Galaxy 6S. I am not going to bash the battery because everyone else has but I will say that there is great info out there to optimize the staying power of the battery. That information really helps. The Galaxy 6S can be somewhat used by iPhone users right away because of the similar type of interface. But there is just so much on the phone and the settings are very individualized. One item that I was impressed with is the picture stabilization. If your hands shake and you get a blurry picture from older phones or cameras, this phone's stabilization setting will certainly help freeze the picture or steady the video. Another interesting aspect is that for some unknown reason some of the help from blogs and videos for the S6 videos s do not track with the newer S6. Getting onto our Microsoft Exchange server was straight forward and sync'd right up. Another plus is that I can use my 7 year old computer to just drag and drop music, photos and ringtones without using any special program for management. I have had mine phone for about a week still not learned everything about it. One item that I will do is start cleaning up all of the bloat ware to better streamline access to the apps I want. Overall, I am pleased with my decision and recommend this phone. 6Stringer in College Station, Texas

    Phone broke within a month

This phone, while in an Otterbox, fell from my desk, a distance of 2.5 feet, and quit working. When I took it to get fixed, they wanted $250 to fix it. They guy said he sees the Galaxy S6 more than any other phone coming in for repairs because they are not sturdy. Also, aside from that, be aware that this model does not allow you to put in an SD card, so you are stuck with the original 32GB that it comes with. In addition, you cannot change the battery out on this phone like you could the previous Galaxy phones. Because of this, I would rate this phone a "do not buy".

  • Is legit and a good deal

I was worried that it wouldn't be a brand new Samsung S6, but it was. Although it had really minor and small scuffs it wasn't noticeable, as for battery it's not the the longest lasting phone but the phone is only 2550 mAh ithe makes up with the fast charging which is excellent. Anyways I recommend this product for those who are worried that this deal isn't legit.

  • Good price for a good product

I like the Samsung brand of cell phones but I wasn't aware of the lack of additional storage and the fact it takes a nano SIM card. The battery is OK, not great, but otherwise it is a good phone and was in excellent condition.

  • Great battery life

I bought a s7 a few months ago and hated it . The battery life was awful,it would go dead in a couple of hours even though it was off. My wife has a s6 and can use it all day reading, texting, playing games no problem. I went from a 5 to a 7 big mistake. Now I’m back to a 6 and love it . I’ve had it two weeks and only charged it twice, but don’t get me wrong I don’t use it like my wife does all day,but it ain’t dead every time I pick it up

  • Battery life sucks

I am likely on my phone more then most, but the battery life does not stand up to that use. My Samsung SG4 on a full charge from morning would last me till bedtime. This baby I must constantly remind myself to plug in. Even for my prior SG4 i purchased an extra battery which i never used because the battery life proved sufficient for my heavy use, but this SG6 does not have a serviceable battery eliminating that trick. If not for the battery life I would love this phone. Hence, me and this phone are on a temporary fling. I see an SG7 Edge or an SG8+ in my future. Bottom line: This phone is pretty, fast, great picture quality, and every other good thing the SG line has come to be known for. With all that good-stuff however, it's a power hog. PS. I'll sell you mine if you're a moderate phone user. If its not your GPS, Your Music device, your TV, your web research tool, etc.

  • Excellent phone.

Back when this came out it was an easy 5/5 stars but now there is much better out there. One of the biggest cons with this phone is the battery life, it's terrible. There is no setting to lower screen resolution either so you can't save some extra battery. Overall it's fast and still holds up great to the newer phones. Would be nice if it had some water resistance, I have however dropped it in water 3 times and each time after I put it in a vacuum chamber to get the water out it has worked.

  • flagship at half the price

s6 is only a few years old and it was samsung's flagship. specs still beat all budget phones. dont spend $200 on a like a moto g when you can get this instead. i like the smaller form factor of this phone. seems all the new flagship phones are like iphone plus size. too big for me.

  • Great deal

Phone works great. It is an excellent condition even though the condition was marked as good. Coming from a Galaxy Note 2 this phone is three times as fast and has twice the storage for $129 I couldn't have got a better phone. Battery life could be a little bit better

  • Very few complaints

The only complaints I have about this phone are 1. It gets hot...not warm..HOT 2. Battery discharges rather quickly 3. Apparently it's delicate. I dropped it on my living room carpet ,(not from a great height by the way,I'm only 5ft 1),and the lcd broke and leaked under the screen. Now there's a huge purple/pink/dark blue splotch that's growing rapidly. Estimate was $199.99 for repair so, since I bought it on eBay for just over $200, I'm just going to buy a new one.
