Carburetor for Mantis
I had a Mantis tiller that the carburetor diaphragm had dry rotted. In shopping for a new diaphragm, it became apparent, that it was better to just buy a whole carb. This kit, not only had the carb, but a new plug, air filter, fuel line set, fuel filter, gaskets, and spare priming bulb. For under $13.00. I will admit, I didn't use the entire kit. I did have to do a minor alteration on the gasket between the carb and intake. I had to make a small hole, in the gasket, to get one small hole to align. No big deal. Also, the air filter, didn't fit my older Mantis. Again, no big deal. My old filter is one of the flat washable filters. The new one had a rubber lip around it, and a thicker center, so it didn't allow my air filter cover to fit down snug enough to get the nut on. I figure the newer ones, take this filter. I was very happy to get my tiller running again. This was a very inexpensive fix, and I was killing weeds, in well under an hour. They were not amused. And, I still have several parts left, that could come handy at a later time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My blower is working again!!
I've been "rebuilding" the carb for several years, but it never woud run quite right, run for 5 min and quit, or run at full throttle only, or something. I decided to look into a new carb. I was really supprised to find this complete NEW carb for so CHEAP, AND with ALL the extras. The new fuel lines alone were worth the price. Its a very simple install. In 20 min my old Echo blower (I bought new in 1984) is running like brand-new!! The only thing not included were instructions, but those are all on the web. Set both needle jets (H and L) at 1.5 full turns OUT (screw all the way in, NOT TIGHT, just til you feel it touch, then back it out 1.5 turns). The gaskets nor the air filter did not match my model of Mantis tiller, I have an older model. The carburetor spark plug and fuel lines with extra fuel filter more than exceeds the value of this kit. I recommend it. I had to tune the carb a little but that is to be expected. Excelent product and well priced
I installed the carburetor and the fuel line, primer line, vent line and new air filter to the mantis tiller. I then filled the tank with fresh fuel and primed the carburetor per instructions and the tiller fired up and was running on the first pull. I only had to adjust the high speed jet I/8 of a turn richer and all was well. I used the tiller for an hour and it ran flawlessly. Perfect for the mantis 7222
I was very skeptical about buying an entire carb with all the fixings for under $20. Turns out that this carb works awesome. I bought this to fix a friends mantis tiller (7222) The carb is perfect, the air filter didn't fit and the rubber grommet was too big. But I wasn't concerned with these parts as I was just wanting the carb. They even send extra bulbs and the gaskets for mounting. Great quality at a super buy.

Zama carburetor kit
The carburetor basically worked fine but needed different base gasket and acquire a different fuel tank the OE tank was a single line setup and the multi lines and seal were to large, tank was brittle anyway so no real big deal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
