amazing
many say that you do not need more that 4 or 8gb ram. that depends on what your doing. I as a hobby record music in my house. and the ol' ASUS dual core with 4mb ram was locking up all the time when playing upwards to 30 instrument tracks. or adding effects. I bit the bullet and upgraded to a Toshiba quad core i7, and immediately upgraded to a 1 tb 7200 HDD and added this kit of 2x 8gb= 16gb ram. in Sonar Platinum you have a resource monitor that shows how the hdd and the ram as well as the processor is holding up. Before this set up it was always ram wise was 50-100% used at any given time. now editing a track of 65 tracks my computer is smooth as heck with no glitchs or drop outs and only peaking 20%. boot up is avg about 10 sec. on win 10 64bit. and I also play with Cyberlink powerdirector 12 64bit. and the 16gb ram improved editing at by 80%. nothing but praise here.

Does what it should
Needed to upgrade the memory on my laptop from 8gb to 16gb and preferred to buy new. Product was manufactured in Dec of 2018. Popped it right in and it worked like a dream. Runs on the lower 1.35 watt voltage. If you are buying Sodimm DDR3L I would highly recommend the G Skill Ripjaws series for laptops that require this type of ram.

Plug and play
I found them easy to install on my HP EliteBook 2570p laptop .On this laptop it is easy to work on . slide release tabs open and slide back door off ,yes remove battery first .Slide out old ram and install new ones , close back door and install battery ,turn over and turn on all done .Computer now shows I have 16 GB of ram now . GRATE
