First Macbook Pro, Great First Impression
I've always wanted to jump on the bandwagon and own one of those shiny devices on the fancy tabletops inside the Apple Stores, and now, I finally got one. Right off the bat, after opening the box's lid, Apple makes for great unboxing experience. Laptop was wrapped in clear plastic sleeve and underneath, were the charger, extension power cable, black wiping cloth wrapped like an envelope, and the manual with apple stickers in their respective slots. After that, you HAVE TO do the "one finger to lift the lid" thing that's been hyped about (for me at least). And lo and behold, the lid lifts with one finger! The screen and keyboard is separated with a white sheet for shipping protection purposes. After throwing that away, you take a moment of silence to admire the fingerprint-less shine of the screen and keyboard. I charged mine up for about 20 minutes and then proceeded to press the power button on the top right of the keyboard once. You then hear the power on sound and then the contrasting white apple logo appears on the black background. Although the unboxing went without a hitch, my initial setup kinda went awry at my own fault. I kinda closed the lid (puts into sleep mode) while it was syncing with my iCloud account which resulted in me having to restart it twice to finally get to the home screen. But after that hiccup, I then proceeded to ooh and awe at the surreal-ness of the Force Touch trackpad. I noticed the display was stunningly clear as well. Also at 3.49 lbs, it felt decently weighted for its performance being metal and all that (like holding 3 thin hardcover yearbooks stacked on top of each other). Safari works perfectly on the macbook with its trackpad gestures making the experience seamless. POWERFUL MACHINE FOR IT'S AGE - and much more COST EFFICIENT !
Awesome Computer ! I can't say enough great things about it. Battery life is excellent and I was able to finish up on past adobe premiere projects that I couldn't finish up on my older iMac. This one is fast and strong enough to be able to handle video and still projects plus a bunch of other things. I guess this was the last Mac (2015) that can be upgraded if needed and battery replaced so I guess I will have this one for quite some time. I also love the size for most things - video is a little more challenging but not impossible. I would rather have this size than the bigger one that would require a much bigger back pack. I put computer in my Oakley sling pack and it fits perfectly. There really isn't anything negative I can say...my only complaint is I wish they could make a keyboard that is more touch sensitive, but that isn't really a big deal. It has two USB ports plus an HDMI port as well. The price was a fraction of a new one (this is a used one I purchased) .... so you can get into a MAC system for much less by buying used or refurbished.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Everyone who has ever used a Mac before knows that this machine is truly a solid machine. Strong enough to do many tasks if you're editing images and audio. If you're in the video editing, this may get your job done, but with 4K videos now the norm, you may consider a little more processor power and 16GBs or RAM. Overall, this is an awesome machine! I bought this machine last week at best buy, and I tend to be an online shopper .... when best buy didn't want to price match at this price point, I just bought it here and am going to return it to best buy. Clean like new
I bought this item for new_york_apple_plaza. They’re pictures are real and true. The pictures don’t really do the products justice. It looks brand new. It didn’t come with a box but they shipping company packaged it very well so the computer doesn’t get damaged or move. But you have to sign for package so be careful of the address you use. If you work during the day use an address where someone can be there to sign or use your work address or leasing office. They are also super FAST. My package was shipped within an hour of me buying it. I highly recommend buying from new_york_apple_plaza.

The edges are sharper than the old one - maybe even a little too sharp - am getting a case to soften the outside. But I love that is is so lightweight. Good stuff
I was more than skeptical before ordering this. I thought falsely that because it's a 2015 release it was going to be of poor quality. The product I received only had a few scratches and zero dents. Also, for the money I spent on it, it is of good value. PS: it does not come with a charger. The charger in the first picture is one I ordered from Apple (like $75 if you're a student).
